HighBridge Properties partnered with a private investor client to acquire this 80-unit, student-oriented apartment community in Davis, California, that is located less than two miles west of the campus of the University of California, Davis. We subsequently renovated and repositioned the property to enhance its appeal and attract more student renters. We upgraded the apartment interiors, common areas and the landscaping. Student renters, who occupied roughly 50% of the apartments at acquisition, now constitute 75% of the property’s occupants. UC-Davis has an annual enrollment of more than 34,000.
